Immune Building Smoothie
This is something that would work particularly well for kids, but obviously for anyone. This would be particularly helpful when dealing with recurrent health issues. But, also if you are sending your kids to daycare, school, etc.
I know some these are probably not items you have on hand, but if you're really having a lot of sickness it might be worth it to invest in them. Other helpful immune builders/strengtheners: fresh garlic, Echinacea, vitamin C.
Combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve immediately after blending while the mixture still has a bubbly milkshake-like consistency. |
